At its October meeting, the University of Louisville Foundation Board of Directors voted to approve a memorandum of understanding with UofL Health to hold, invest and manage its philanthropic resources, including a grateful patient program.
As a result, UofL Health can take part in the strong growth of the Foundation’s endowment pool. The Foundation maximized gains during the robust financial market over the past fiscal year, growing the pool 39.2%.
UofL Health is a fully integrated regional academic health system with five hospitals, four medical centers, nearly 200 physician practice locations, more than 700 providers, the Frazier Rehab Institute and Brown Cancer Center.
