Sofya Alterman is an Executive Vice President at PIMCO. Prior to joining PIMCO, she was a Managing Director and Head Product Specialist at Strategic Value Partners, a credit and special situations firm, and a Lead Product Strategist at BlackRock. Sofya has over 20 years of experience in financial services with experience working with institutional investors across asset classes. Sofya has deep market knowledge in alternative investing across private equity, credit and hedge funds.
She received her MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics from the University of Louisville.
