Rudy Spencer is the Managing Director of BlueSky, the family office for the owners of Samtec. Spencer oversees BlueSky’s philanthropy network and external affairs. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville, where he was Student Body President and Student Trustee.
Spencer also earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, where he was named Student of the Year by the NASW-MI Chapter. Spencer’s leadership has been widely recognized, including as a BMe Community Genius Fellow and as the 2021 Young Philanthropist of the Year by the Greater Louisville Association of Fundraising Professionals.
