Macy Waddle is the current Student Government Association President. Macy is from Mt. Washington, KY. She is majoring in political science, Spanish, and political marketing, and has been active in numerous leadership roles. She previously served as the SGA academic vice president (2024-2025), student government assistant to the academic vice president (2023-2024), and McConnell Scholar’s Program outreach chair (2023-2024).
Macy’s extensive involvement extends to Greek life, where she serves as the Chi Omega Sorority recruitment chair for 2025 and as the 2024 Chi Omega secretary. In addition, she’s a McConnell Scholar, an Honors Scholar, and a mentor with Refuge UL. Macy’s passion for leadership and advocacy is evident in her work with the Engage Lead Serve Board’s Animal Welfare Committee and her role as a Disability Resource Center notetaker.
