Jerry Abramson has previously served as the Mayor of Louisville, the Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky and the Deputy Assistant to the President and the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House. Currently, Abramson serves as the Executive in Residence at Spalding University, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes and guest lectures in courses on comparative leadership, public finance, and innovation in all levels of government.

Abramson received his bachelor’s degree in business economics and public policy at IU. He received his juris doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center.
